THE HOLY FATHER BLESSED THE ALTAR OF ADORATION „THE STAR OF THE IMMACULATE” FOR POLAND

Altar of Eucharistic Adoration – The Star of the Immaculate for Poland (Polish voice)

On 29 August 2018, before the General Audience in the Vatican, Pope Francis blessed “The Star of the Immaculate” – the most recent Altar of Eucharistic Adoration destined for the World Center of Prayer for Peace in Niepokalanów (Poland), the 8th Star in the Crown of Mary Queen of Peace.

Kamil Drapikowski from “Drapikowski Studio” (Gdańsk, Poland) says that performing altars of Eucharistic adoration is in a certain sense a “vocation”, and a testimony.
“This artworks are in fact not “performed”, they are “written”, as icons are written. Before we get to work, we pray, meditate and the project is discussed by all members of our Design-Executive team. Thanks to it, the fruit which is born can enrich human hearts and open them to the action of God’s grace. And this is the purpose of our work” – adds Kamil Drapikowski.

Each of the altars destined to different places on different continents are blessed by the Holy Father. The artist says:
“The moment of blessing of the altar is very unique, comparable to the baptism of a child. After the blessing this “vessel” journeys to its destination and begins to serve. The greatest joy comes from the fact that it serves, when we see that people adore the Blessed Sacrament, when their hearts open and they begin to receive the truth that Christ is present in the Blessed Sacrament” – adds Kamil Drapikowski.

“The Star of the Immaculate” has been already placed in the Chapel of Perpetual Adoration in the Basilica of “Our Lady Immaculate, wp-content/uploadstrix of All Graces” in Niepokalanów where the World Center of Prayer for Peace is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

We invite you all to come and join the prayer for peace in Niepokalanów.

  • Greetings from Colombia,

I am writing to you because I would like to know how can my country do to work up and take part of ” The 12 Stars in the Crown of Mary” project.

We understand that there are praying centers located in every continent, speially in places affected by war and violence, such as our country, therefore we want to know if we can be part of this project as a country that has suffered a lot.

I hope to hear back soon from you.

Kind regards and God bless you.

  • Is there a Star in the Crown of Mary in the USA? If not, my town which is in the Crossroads of America would be a central place. I love your Chapel in Niepokolonow!
