10 years ago, on 25 th March 2009 the first International Center of Prayer for Peace was set up in Jerusalem, by the 4th Station of the Way of the Cross. Many pilgrims have been gathering there, imploring for the grace of peace for the Holy Land and the whole world….

Currently, the adoration is being continued in the Chapel of Perpetual Adoration by the Milk Grotto Church in Bethlehem.

We wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to all of you who have faithfully supported the Work both spiritually and materially all through these years, asking you to remain with us, so that the Work may continue…

It is our joy to inform that on 5 February 2019 the Apostolic Penitentiary bestowed the grace of plenary indulgence for the next 7 years, which can be obtained by visiting the Shrine of The Immaculate Conception, the Mediatrix of All Graces, and of St. Maximilian Kolbe, as well as by visiting the Chapel of Perpetual Adoration in Niepokalanów.

In order to obtain the plenary indulgence, it is necessary to observe the “usual conditions”, which are: to have sacramentally confessed one’s sins, to receive the Holy Eucharist, to repent for one’s sins, to pray or have adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, both of them concluding with “Our Father” prayer, to pray the Creed and invoke the names of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Maximilian Maria Kolbe.

The sick and elderly, in order to obtain the indulgence, should accomplish, at the nearest opportunity, three conditions (the sacrament of confession, the Holy Communion, detachment from sin) and should unite themselves spiritually in adoration of the Lord Jesus, having before them the image of the Eucharistic Jesus.

A design of the Chapel of Perpetual Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament by the Parish of St. James in Medjugorie was entrusted to the artistic atelier “Drapikowski Studio” from Gdansk, Poland.

As Mr. Piotr Ciołkiewicz, the President of “Comunità Regina della Pace” says: “The International Center of Prayer for Peace has come into existence at the moment of handing over the Monstrance in 2011, performed by “Drapikowski Studio” too. It was a moment of symbolic joining of the Medjugorie Parish into the Work of “The 12 Stars in the Crown of Mary Queen of Peace”.

The design which is being prepared now encompasses the Chapel together with the Altar of Adoration and it will be “adapted”, so to say, to the existing Monstrance.

In order that the project might be carried out, a significant support is needed, that’s why we would like to ask everyone to pray, request Holy Masses and offer any sacrifice possible for this intention.

In the Shrine of Our Lady of Jasna Góra in Częstochowa 30 Holy Masses will be offered for this
intention from March 1 st until March 31 st , at 7:00 a.m.

In November 2018, under the spiritual care of Association’s Moderator, HE Archbishop Tomash Peta, the representatives of “Comunita Regina della Pace” made a pilgrimage to Medjugorie, one of the Centers of Prayer for Peace created within the Work of “The 12 Stars in the Crown of Mary Queen of Peace”.
