Prayer for peace in Sopot
The monstrance „The Queen of Peace” visited the St. Andrew Bobola’s Parish in Sopot from 28 May until 11 June, 2022.
Sopot, called the Jewel of Polish Riviera, is one of the gorgeous Poland’s Tri-city laying on the Baltic Sea coast. The St. Andrew Bobola’s church is located at the very entrance to the famous Sopot pier which resulted in many tourists having been attracted to the adoration, together with the parishioners.
Mainly silent adoration was interwoven with moments of reciting in community the “Prayer” and “Litany for Peace”.
As a fruit of this period of intense prayer for peace, the Pastor of St. Andrew Bobola’s requested that the parish community could join the work of the Stars on the Mantle of Our Lady, Queen of Peace. It is great joy for us to know that another community is eager to pray regularly for peace, adoring Eucharistic Jesus.

Peace for African Missions
Another Star on the Mantle of our Lady, Queen of Peace, now shines brightly at the Center of African Missions at Borzecin Duzy, near Warsaw.
The Center, run by missionary fathers from the Association of African Missions, joined the work of the Stars on May 29, 2022, the Solemnity of the Ascension of our Lord.
On this occasion, with permission of H.E. Cardinal Nycz, Metropolitan of Warsaw, the Chapel of St. Paul’s Conversion also gained another title: the Chapel of Our Lady, Queen of Peace. His Eminence presided over the solemn Holy Mass and shared how man’s dignity is downtrodden by war, but exalted to the greatest heights, first by the Incarnation, then by the Resurrection and the Ascension. His Eminence expressed his joy at the fact that prayer for peace before the Blessed Sacrament would be raised in the Chapel, but at the same time appealed for Christian action that must flow from this prayer. The Eucharistic Jesus calls us to defend the human dignity of each person that God places in our path.
Mr. Piotr Ciolkiewicz, president of the Association of Comunità Regina della Pace, as well as other representatives from the Association, presented to His Eminence the Certificate of Designation to the Work of the Stars on the Mantle of Our Lady, Queen of Peace. We rejoice greatly in the fact that this place, full of missionary spirit, will serve its guests, both cleric and lay, retreatants, and missionary fathers, as a place of prayer for peace in Africa and the whole world.

The first Star in Central America
On May 13, 2022, on the Feast of Our Lady of Fátima, St. Helen’s Parish in San Salvador (El Salvador) joined the Work of the Stars on the Mantle of Our Lady, Queen of Peace.
The inauguration event commenced with a procession of a statue of Our Lady of Fátima who was welcomed with reverence and joy by all gathered.
Following the procession, exposition of the Blessed Sacrament took place and participants prayed the Holy Rosary before the Eucharistic Jesus.
H.E. Víctor Jorge Saca, the Honorary Consul of Poland in El Salvador, read the declaration of St. Helen’s Parish joining in the Work of the Stars on the Mantle of Our Lady, Queen of Peace. A message from Mr. Robert Czekaj, Vice President of the Association of Comunità Regina della Pace, was then shared with those in attendance. The adhesion to the Work was received with applause of the faithful and a word of gratitude from the Pastor, Rev. Nelson Díaz.
Rev. Diaz then offered Holy Mass, where all gathered were invited to renewal of the Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
The Archdiocesan Catholic Television (TVCA) recorded the event which was graced with abundant floral decorations of the altar and beautiful music lead by the parish choir.
Let us rejoice because another Star on the Mantle of Our Lady, Queen of Peace has come into being and will shine its light, obtaining graces of peace for the parishioners of St. Helen’s and the whole world.

New Stars on the Mantle of Our Lady, Queen of Peace
On 30 March 2022, in the Shrine of Our Lady, Mother of Grace from Lviv, in the Co-Cathedral in Lubaczów (east of Poland, close to the Ukrainian border), a certificate was presented to the Co-Cathedral confirming their adherence to the Work of the Stars on the Mantle of Our Lady, Queen of Peace.
The Work of the Stars on the Mantle of Our Lady, Queen of Peace is carried out by the Association of Comunità Regina della Pace from Poland. Its aim is promotion of Eucharistic Adoration for peace throughout the whole world.
H.E. Archbishop Mieczyslaw Mokrzycki, Metropolitan of Lviv, presided over the solemn Holy Mass.
The Association was represented by Mr. Piotr Ciołkiewicz (President), Mr. Mariusz Drapikowski (Vice President) and Members of the Board: Mr. Andrzej Sikora and Mr. Bogusław Olszonowicz.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Mr. Sikora read the text of the Certificate and presented it to H.E. Archbishop Mokrzycki, who passed it on to Rev. Andrzej Stopyra (the Co-Cathedral Parish Priest). A monstrance, created by Mr. Drapikowski for the Archcathedral in Lviv, and donated on behalf of the Association, was then presented to H.E. Archibishop Mokrzycki.
As a sign of gratitude for the monstrance, H.E. Archbishop Mokrzycki presented to the Association a medal depicting Our Lady with the Infant Child, a St. John Paul II personal relic.
This designation as a Star on the Mantle of Our Lady, Queen of Peace ensures a place of regular Eucharistic adoration for peace, especially for Ukraine. At 3.00 p.m. the Chaplet of Divine Mercy was prayed before the exposed Blessed Sacrament followed by a final blessing.
H.E. Archbishop Mokrzycki said, regarding the establishment of the Archcathedral as a special place of prayer for peace, “…will be carried, through Mary, before the throne of Jesus Christ – the only Giver of grace and peace.”
In addition, as a sign of solidarity between the Association and Ukraine, medical equipment was delivered to the Curia in Lviv by Mr. Andrzej Sikora, Mr. Mariusz Drapikowski and Rev. Andrzej Stopyra.
