A Star shone in the heart of North America
It is our joy to inform that on December 12, 2021, on the Feast of the Patroness of Both Americas, Our Lady of Guadalupe, a solemn inauguration of the Star on the Mantle of Our Lady, Queen of Peace took place in the Parish of St. John the Baptist in Beloit, Kansas (USA).
Holy Mass was presided over by His Excellency, The Most Reverend Gerald Vincke, Bishop of Diocese of Salina, whom representatives of the Association had the pleasure to meet in one of the online sessions.
In his homily Bishop stressed both, the importance of prayer for peace and the power of Eucharistic Adoration. The Bishop also mentioned a situation from the beginning of his service in the Diocese of Salina, when he said that Kansas was geographically in the center of the U.S. and peace and mercy had to start in the heart…
We are convinced that joining the apostolate of prayer for peace, joining the community of people imploring for peace before the Blessed Sacrament can be a fulfillment of these prophetic words…
We wish to express our heartfelt appreciation for everyone who has participated in the process of joining the Parish of St. John’s to the work of the Stars on the Mantle of Our Lady, Queen of Peace. Thank you for your enthusiasm, your time and work. God bless you all!
